It’s that time of year again y’all, and you might be wondering what to get your favorite pediatric occupational therapist! Welp, I’m here to help you out – as a pediatric occupational therapist, here are some things I’ve needed, or wanted to make work-life easier or more comfortable, and a couple of things that are just fun!

So without further ado, here are some great gift ideas for your favorite pedi therapist!

Great, durable socks

If you’re like me (or your favorite therapist is), we’re just shoe-less all day. I walk around in my socks all day, because shoes are dirty! So I like to make sure I have a good variety of kid-friendly, durable socks!

Insulated Coffee Cups

An insulated coffee cup! The longer my cup can keep my coffee cold (or hot) the better. During the day, breaks are sparse, so making sure my coffee tastes the same from the moment I made it in the morning until the end of the day, is crucial. I love my Yeti cup!

Comfy Scrubs

This will vary per person, a lot of pediatric therapists don’t wear scrubs – so make sure you know for sure if your therapist wears scrubs! My favorite brand is Cherokee! Make sure to check in with your OT in case they have dress codes at work!

Gift Card for Toys

A gift card to Amazon or a local toy store. I definitely use a lot of my own money to purchase toys and things for my kids to use in therapy. So help out your therapist, I’m sure they’d appreciate some extra cash to fund all the good times in therapy!

An Annual Park Pass

Keep it local to your state or go all out with an annual National Park Pass. Either way, this is a great option for the adventurous pediatric OT!

A Florida State Parks Annual Pass is just $60, while a National Parks Pass is $80.

Reading Material

Fund your favorite pedi OT’s obsession with reading up on the latest in all things OT! Here is a link to my Amazon storefront with books I love!

CEU Funds

Drop some cash on a CEU course they’ve been eying – definitely make sure to ask what courses they are interested in, or just let them know that you would love to fund a class for them!

I love using occupationaltherapy.com for my continuing education needs!

You can also get $150 off a membership with code “CAROLINEOT” with MedBridge!

A Pediatric Pocket Guide… 🙂

I mean why not throw my own pocket guide in here?? For those new grad pedi OT’s or a student you know about to graduate, this would be a great gift for them to take to work!

Check out some of my other products on there as well! Great for new grad pedi OTs!
